P2 Caramel Apple Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 medium apple, very thinly sliced
  • 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp water (divided)
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 packet powdered stevia
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • 8–10 drops English Toffee liquid stevia
  • 1 grissini stick (optional, for topping)

Instructions

Prep the Apple
Preheat oven to 375°F. Thinly slice the apple (the thinner, the better for tenderness).

Layer the Pie
Arrange apple slices in layers in a 3-inch crème brûlée dish or small ramekin.
Between each layer, sprinkle cinnamon, nutmeg, and a light dusting of powdered stevia.

Add Moisture & Flavor
In a small bowl, mix lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, and 1 Tbsp water.
Pour evenly over the layered apples.
Drizzle English Toffee liquid stevia over the top.

Bake
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until apples are tender and the top is lightly caramelized.

Finish & Serve
Let cool slightly.
For extra texture, crumble a grissini stick over the warm apples before serving.
