P3 Almond Bread

This almond bread is one of my favorites. It’s made with a few simple ingredients. A satisfying alternative to traditional bread without using yeast. Excellent gluten-free option for those who want to decrease carbs. Enjoy it plain or  with peanut butter, strawberry jam, and as  tuna spread.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups almond flour
  • 1/4 cup ground flax seeds
  • 1 tbsp whole flax seeds
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 4 large eggs beaten
  • 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp butter to grease the loaf pan

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°.
  2. Mix all ingredients together (except for the butter--which is used to grease the pan) until thoroughly combined. 
  3. Grease an 8 or 9 inch loaf pan or just line it with parchment paper instead.
  4. Pour dough into the loaf pan and bake at 300° for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the bread’s center comes out clean.
  5. Cool before serving.
