This almond bread is one of my favorites. It’s made with a few simple ingredients. A satisfying alternative to traditional bread without using yeast. Excellent gluten-free option for those who want to decrease carbs. Enjoy it plain or with peanut butter, strawberry jam, and as tuna spread.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups almond flour
- 1/4 cup ground flax seeds
- 1 tbsp whole flax seeds
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 4 large eggs beaten
- 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp butter to grease the loaf pan
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°.
- Mix all ingredients together (except for the butter--which is used to grease the pan) until thoroughly combined.
- Grease an 8 or 9 inch loaf pan or just line it with parchment paper instead.
- Pour dough into the loaf pan and bake at 300° for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the bread’s center comes out clean.
- Cool before serving.
