P3 Lettuce-Wrapped Chicken Bacon Sandwich
Craving a hearty sandwich without the carbs? This lettuce-wrapped chicken bacon sandwich delivers bold flavor, satisfying protein, and fresh crunch — all without the bun!
🛒 Ingredients
- 1 boneless, skinless chicken breast (5–6 oz)
- 2 slices bacon
- 1 slice cheddar cheese
- 2 large romaine or green leaf lettuce leaves
- 2 slices tomato
- 2–3 thin slices red onion
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tsp olive oil or avocado oil
Instructions
 Cook the Bacon
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy.
- Remove and place on paper towels to drain.
Season the Chicken
- Pat the chicken dry.
- Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Cook the Chicken
- Heat olive or avocado oil in the same skillet over medium heat.
- Cook chicken for 5–7 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- During the last minute, place cheddar cheese on top and cover the skillet to melt.
Assemble the Sandwich
- Lay one large lettuce leaf as the base.
- Add cheesy chicken breast.
- Top with crispy bacon, tomato slices, and red onion.
- Finish with another lettuce leaf on top and gently press together.
